Hosted by China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) and Beijing CESI Technology Co., Ltd., the New Industry Standardization Pilot Forum was held in Beijing on November 21.

Themed "Fostering innovation and improving quality by standards", the forum was attended and addressed by Xie Shaofeng, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Luo Fengying, Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity Coordination Bureau, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, and Li Jianguo, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Digital Technology and Infrastructure Construction, the National Data Administration.

This forum focused on emerging industries and key sectors of future industries, with seven sub-forums themed "integrated circuit standardization", "low-altitude economic standardization innovation and development", "generative artificial intelligence standardization", "standardization of audio-visual electronics", "standard digitization", "greenness and low carbon", and "high-quality development of electric bicycles and batteries".

Various standardization innovation achievements were released at the forum, which included the 100 Q&A of Standardization Knowledge in the Field of Industry and Information Technology, the CESI series products of standard digitization, and the "Qiusuo" AI national standards evaluation reference system. Also, during the event, the self-regulatory association of electric bicycle industry was set up, and the cooperation signing ceremony was held for cooperation between CESI and parties including Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and other enterprises.

The main forum was attended by officers and experts such as Zheng Zhiming, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Xiaogang, former ISO President and President of Chinese Society for Metals, Jiang Yan, President of China Quality Management Association for Electronics Industry and Director-General of National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, Wang Chuanchen, Chief Editor of China Industry and Information Technology Publishing & Media Group and President of Publishing House of Electronics Industry, Zhen Liang, Party Secretary of NUAA, Xu Zhengyang, Vice President of NUAA, and Yin Zhichao, Vice President of Capital University of Economics and Business. Yang Xudong, President of CESI, and Yang Jianjun, Party Secretary of CESI. More than 600 representatives from relevant industrial associations, research institutions, typical enterprises, and media attended the main forum as well.
